He was buried in Bailey Cemetery, Alton, Oregon Co., Missouri. He married Maud May Kasten on 10 Apr 1901 in Martinsburg (now Ponca), Dixon Co., Nebraska. [Parents]

MARRIAGE: Trinity Lutheran Church, 5106 Douglas St. (Martinsburg), Ponca, Nebraska 68770-7019. Original record of the marriage found in the church's record books written in German. Witnesses were Richard Stark and Louise Stark. The ceremony was performed by the pastor in the home of M.C. Stark. Obtained in a visit on 22 May 2002, by Shauna Rae & Kenneth Brown.
