Welcome to the homepage for Shauna-Rae Brown and Kenneth E. Brown. We live in Casa Grande, Arizona. I work in nearby Maricopa as a GIS Technician. I also do GIS for my genealogy. Ken works in Scottsdale as an Electrical Engineer on the electrical utility side of this not-for-profit company. We used to share our home with our dog, Angel. She passed away April 9, 2012.
We lead busy lives. I have no time for Facebook or Twitter. I had a Facebook account, but closed it, because unless you're family, I don't care to know what you're doing every minute of your day. Family is my most important concern. I spend part of every weekend doing stuff for or with my parents. We like to go on 4-wheel-drive trips, watch football, and participate in half marathons such as the P.F.Chang Rock and Roll Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. In January 2012 Mom, Sherri, and I participated in and finished the 1/2 marathon. We all were happy with our finishing times. Ken took some pictures of us during the race. Other half marathon races that I've run with my mom are the 2012 Lost Dutchman Half Marathon, and 2012 Arizona Distance Classic. My sister, Sherri, and I recently ran in the 2012 Zappos.com Rock 'n' Roll 1/2 Marathon, which is also called the Las Vegas Strip at Night. My finishing time was 3:00:40 (3 hours, 40 seconds), and I ran or jogged most of the race. I've also signed up for the 2013 P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll half Marathon.
Some of my interests or hobbies include photography, reading and collecting books, gardening (when the vegetable plants live), sewing, crocheting, watching birds, going on 4wd trips, and traveling in general. Here's a link to my blog [click], where I post my travel and news stuff.
