1. LuVern Hazel Meuli [scrapbook] was born on 28 Dec 1926 in Tracy, Lyon Co., Minnesota. On 17 Oct 1942 she married Victor Lee Fortin, and they had one daughter prior to their divorce. She married John Henry "Jack" Helms on 31 Dec 1948, and had two daughters and a son by this marriage, which ended when Jack passed away in 1988. She died on 26 Nov 1995 in Whitefish, Flathead Co., Montana. She was buried on 01 Dec 1995 in Tobacco Valley Cemetery, Eureka, Lincoln Co., Montana, next to her beloved husband, Jack Helms.[Parents]

BIRTH: Obtained from Gramma LuVern in a personal conversation with this researcher, Shauna Rae Brown, her granddaughter.

LIVED: According to LuVern Helms, 7 June 1990, they lived in Somers, Montana, until she was in 6th grade, then they moved to Kalispell and lived there for 3 to 4 years, from there they moved to Trego and then Eureka. Then she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado at age 17 and received the equivalent of a GED. After Colorado she moved to North Carolina. Gramma LuVern didn't tell me when she and Jack Helms moved to Eureka, Montana, but she lived there until her death.

MARRIAGES: LuVern married three times in her life, first to Victor Lee Fortin, second to John Henry "Jack" Helms, and the last time just prior to her death, she had married a man by the name of Adams. In all she had four children. As of this publication, all of her children are still living.
